We are supposed to get dirty! We always emphasize that a doormat is meant to absorb dirt, so that the floor stays clean. We recommend maintaining the cleaning and drying mats by vacuuming. We also recommend catching coarse dirt with a rubber outdoor mat. The design doormats can be cleaned with a soft brush, lukewarm water and green soap.

The entrance mats have a high moisture absorption capacity and thus effectively remove dirt from shoes. The designs of LX MATTEN are so beautiful that you may want to keep the doormat as clean as possible, such as with wallpaper or a carpet. However, the drying and cleaning mats are precisely intended to absorb dirt and moisture and therefore discolouration during use cannot be ruled out.

We strongly advise against beating the entrance mats or pulling or holding the vinyl for subsequent cleaning. Do not place our indoor entrance mats with vinyl backing on a damp floor or surface.

Maintain the carpets by vacuuming them regularly. Check beforehand whether the vacuum nozzle is suitable for use. Do not vacuum the carpets with a rotating or rough brush.

Absorb stains with a white cloth and do not rub the stain into the carpet. Be careful that the cloth cannot transfer dye or color to the carpet. Avoid chemicals and consult a professional carpet cleaning company for stubborn stains. Impregnation is possible, but at your own risk.

Ask guests to remove their shoes on the LX entrance mat. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee stains on the carpets. The carpets can be cleaned at your own risk by a professional organization or by hiring a carpet cleaner.

For deep cleaning of stubborn stains
we advise to use a carpet cleaner carefully or remove stains with mild soap and a soft brush. Then rinse the scraper mat well with clean water and let the entrance mat dry completely before use.
