Design Entrance Mats

We are supposed to get dirty! We always emphasize that a doormat is meant to absorb dirt, so that the floor stays clean. We recommend maintaining the cleaning and drying mats by vacuuming them regularly, while the mat is lying on the floor. We also advise catching coarse dirt with a 'June Flower Outdoor' outdoor mat. The design doormats can be cleaned with a soft brush, lukewarm water and green soap.

The entrance mats have a high moisture absorption capacity and thus effectively remove dirt from shoes. The designs of LX MATTEN are so beautiful that you might want to keep your doormat as clean as possible, like wallpaper or a rug. However, the drying and cleaning mats are precisely intended to absorb dirt and moisture, so discolouration during use cannot be ruled out.

We strongly advise against beating the entrance mats or pulling or holding the vinyl edges when cleaning. Do not place our indoor entrance mats with vinyl backing on a damp floor or surface.

June Flower Outdoor Mat

Clean the outdoor mat and the floor underneath regularly to prevent dirt from penetrating the rubber or the surface. Use a garden hose to rinse the outdoor mat. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush or cloth. Soap can damage the rubber.

Discolouration from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight unfortunately cannot be fully ruled out. But remember: it is a functional product, meant to keep your floor clean! We're supposed to get dirty!

With prolonged use on porous or moisture-sensitive surfaces such as concrete, concrete tiles or natural stone, moisture, dirt and the sealed-off surface can cause colour changes or shadow marks on the floor underneath — just like under a planter. This effect depends on the surface, location and conditions of use.

Dirt accumulation under the outdoor mat can be cleaned with a firm brush and a bucket of water combined with green soap, patio cleaner or diluted bleach, depending on the type of surface.

LXRY Entrance mats

We are supposed to get dirty! We always emphasize that a doormat is meant to absorb dirt, so that the floor stays clean. For maintenance, we recommend vacuuming the scraper mats frequently. To protect the entrance mat, it is best to combine it with an outdoor mat to catch part of the dirt from outside.

For deep cleaning of stubborn stains, we advise using a carpet cleaner carefully, or removing stains with lukewarm water — and let the entrance mat dry completely before use.

Do not place our indoor entrance mats with vinyl backing on a damp floor or surface.
